With a deal made through Cineworld and Warner Bros, select Regal locations are opening April 16, including the Regal Lone Star in Tomball, with special screenings of Godzilla vs. Kong. Additional theaters will open in the following weeks as the capacity restriction is expected to rise from 25 to 50 percent.

Still, with respect to COVID-19, guests are required to wear a face mask at all times in the lobby and auditoriums. The only exception to this rule is then eating or drinking in the auditorium. Employees will be monitoring auditoriums throughout each film in order to ensure acceptable behavior.  Masks will be provided to those who arrive without a face mask.

Employees will undergo daily health screenings, the requirements of washing their hands every 30-60 minutes, and wearing a mask in order to ensure the safety of all guests.

A new policy added to the Regal experience is the ability to purchase concession items from their mobile device when in the theater; as well as receiving a new cup or bucket when refilling large soft drinks or large popcorn. All locations featuring diners, restaurants, and in theater ordering will remain closed, however.
