The cast of “Young Sheldon” came to Tomball High School to give a $600,000 grant for the STEM Program. The grant will be used for two years with an available extension after the two year period. Tomball High School was one of 19 schools across the nation given this grant.

The grant will be used for robotics club and other STEM Programs. The president and vice president of the robotics club along with the sponsor of robotics club accepted the grant.

The Chuck Lorre Family and Warner Bros. have partnered along with the producers of “Young Sheldon” to give the grants to schools in Texas and California.  Including the two Texas schools Montana Jordan attended (Montana plays George Jr., Sheldon’s older brother).

It was also the first time “Young Sheldon” actors Raegan Revord (Missy) and Ian Armitage (young Sheldon) have ever been to Texas.
