Cross Country season has been fantastic for the Cougars, as the teams who competed last week at the District XC meet came away with a victory.

The freshmen boys are district champs. The freshmen who won medals are Michael Muckler, Sam Carney, Kevin White, Gage McGraw, Gerry Ford and Parker Isenberg.

In the JV girls division, Julia Schlundt placed 3rd place and earned a medal.

“It felt really good, we had most of our runners with medals, and it was a fun race,” Muckler said. “Cross country season has been really good, the freshmen team did really good, we got second on what is like our biggest meet and we won districts.”

“We all did pretty well, freshmens did fantastic, probably the best meet I’ve seen in years,” Drake Santelia added.
