Honors College now accepting applications

Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 Fall Cohort for The Chancellor’s Fellows Awards for incoming freshmen. Only a limited number of students will receive this award which includes a package that includes tuition and fee payments that cover up to 15 credit hours, a book allowance, and an allowance to pursue a course of study in the Honors AA or AS degree.

Chancellor’s Fellows Award requires a student to have a full 2-year commitment to the Honors College as well as full-time attendance for the program.

Eligibility requirements for a student wanting to apply for the Honors College must have at least one of the following:

  • A high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • 1240 or higher composite SAT score
  • 26 or higher composite score on the ACT
  • 3.25 GPA with 9 or more college credit hours

Eligibility to join The Honors College Chancellor’s Fellows include the entry criteria to The Honors College Program alongside the student being a first-year. Applicants who have completed all that is required by March 1st have the possibility of being interviewed and notified of acceptance before the final deadline of April 15th.
