School has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and the main stairs are still crowded.

The walkway and the merging cattycorner are the busiest at the beginning of every period. Walking up and down the stairs is a hassle, especially when your face is pressed to the back of some sweaty person. This is just a friendly reminder reminding you that there are secret back staircases that can lead to magical places. If you can find them!

Just kidding. They aren’t magical but they lead you to where all staircases should go to: The upper floors. You can find them located at the end of the Math, Science, Special Ed., Foreign languages and English hallways. They seem to be sneaky by looking like the Mechanical or Electrical rooms. Just read the sign, it helps a lot.

Also, don’t be embarrassed to pick up the back-to-school issue that’s still in the newspaper racks, and flip to the big, color-coded map in the middle. Every stairwell is noted on that map.

The end of the day tends to be the busiest time for those poor stairs. As a tip, the traffic at the bottom of the main stairway would flow much more smoothly if people didn’t stop  to snog your boyfriend or girlfriend.
