Everyone is a fan of free music, and with the iTunes song of the week, there is easy access to great free songs.
Every Tuesday, Apple releases a “Single of the Week,” that features a newly released song that is available for free download in the iTunes store.
To download the song, follow these steps:
•Open the iTunes store
•Under the Music section, make sure you are on the Featured screen
•Scroll down to “What’s Hot”
•Download the first song on the list for free
“I wish I had known about the free song sooner,” sophomore Allyson Willey said. “I am definitely glad that iTunes is featuring new artists.”

There is even an App that alerts consumers of the release of the weekly song, called “Free Song Notifier for iTunes Single of the Week.” The app is also free.
