JV track has done really well this season and only continued to improve recently at the Magnolia West meet.

In Shot-put, Junior Luke Malnar got 1st place with a distance of 44′ 7”.

Connor Scott(11th) was only one inch behind Malnar at a distance of 44′ 6” putting him in 2nd and Tate Schiel(11th) got 6th place with a distance of 35′.

Girls also did really well in shot-put with Raiah Conway(9th) getting 1st place at a distance of 28′ flat and Ashley Ramsey(9th) got 2nd with a distance of 26′ 2”.

These same people also did well in discus with Luke Malnar won 1st place again this time with a distance of 125′ 5” and Connor Scott earned 2nd again this time with a distance of 122′ 2”.

Conway’s and Ramsey’s places are flipped in discus with this time Ramsey getting 1st place with a distance of 84′ 1” and Conway getting 2nd with a distance of 82′ 3”. Also, Amber Gonzalez won 3rd with a distance of 79′ 10”.

For the 4×100 relay the Girls’ team got 1st and the Boys’ team got 4th.

The Girls’ team consisted of Tori Green(9th), Emily Jiral(11th), Baye Bryant(9th), Gianna Smith(9th), Izzy Cardenas(10th), and Meagan Bolton(9th).

In the 4×200 a team, whom won 4th place, was comprised of Buteaux, Ethan Quigley(11th), Eric James(11th), and Guinn took 1.38 minutes to complete the relay.

Brenna Muse(11th) made 5th place in the 100m run finishing in 14.3 seconds, Christina Garcia(10th) made 6th in 14 seconds, and Kelsey Hicks(9th) made 7th in 14.8 seconds.

Boys also did well with Guinn winning 5th place in 11.84 seconds, Ve’an earning 6th in 11.86 seconds, and Amezaga earned 8th in 11.88 seconds.

In the 800m run both Boys and Girls did really well with Nicole Estrada winning 1st in 2.52 minutes and Juan Orozo winning 1st in 2.12 minutes.

G.Smith and Presley Babb did very well in the 100m Hurdles with Smith winning 1st in 17.44 seconds and Babb earning 2nd in 17.82 seconds.

Bolton won 1st in Long Jump with a distance of 14′ 7”. Bryant earned 3rd place with a distance of 14′ flat and Muse earned 4th at a distance of 13′ 3”.

Last but not least, Jiral won 1st place in triple jump with a distance of 30′ 5”.
