After an epic last stand, Varsity Boys’ Basketball were unable to avenge the Girls and lost to Rouse on Tuesday with a final score of 57-52, ending their season.

“It was a very close game,” Coach Brad Ball said, “and with less than a minute to go in the last quarter we had the lead, we really could have won.”

The Girl’s basketball season has also officially ended, losing the Tuesday prior to the same Rouse High School. The final score was 47-31.

Both teams’ goals were to make it to the playoffs, and both achieved their goals.

“We did really good this season,” Katelyn Emshoff (12th) said. “We bonded with all the girls and Coach Lemker was an amazing coach.”

The boy’s overall record was 24-9, district record was 10-4. Girl’s overall record was 20-9, district record was 10-4.
