Girl’s basketball fights to bitter end

They might have lost but they never quit.
At first Magnolia, was beating the girls badly but at the 3rd quarter things really picked up speed. The two teams went head to head with a single point defining the difference between victory and defeat.
The crowd went wild, not calming until way after the buzzer.
In the end, however, Magnolia ended up defeating Tomball 30-29. As for the JV and 9A teams, both won, beating back the Bulldogs. JV final score: 34-20/ 9A final score: 37-16
“I felt like we did alright,” Ashley Hailey (12th) said. “With a couple more practices I’m sure we’ll be ready for this Friday’s game.”
