“We don’t just wanna barely win,” Varsity tennis player, Cooper Link, said. “The goal should be to dominate them.”

Dominate is exactly what the Cougar Tennis team did, defeating Tomball Memorial last Tuesday 12-7. With this major victory, the Coogs are now undefeated district champs (7-0).

Tennis is now qualified to advance to the area tournament, which will be next Thursday and Friday in Georgetown.

“We did really well,” junior, Madeline Mueller, said. “We’ve improved a lot since the beginning of this year. We lost to Tomball Memorial before district, and now we beat them.”
