Because of the historic flood here happening in Harris County, athletics around the area have been struggling to figure out scheduling for the sports teams.

“Most of the varsity games have to be made up,” THS athletic director Danny Ramsey said. “The softball games at Memorial are Saturday at 1, baseball we haven’t heard about arrangements.”

On Friday, varsity baseball will host Brenham at 7, while JV and Sophomore is at Brenham at 4:30/7 p.m.

Softball plays Friday night at home against Tomball Memorial, with JV at 5 p.m. and Varsity at 6:45.

On Saturday, varsity softball will play at Spring Woods at 1 p.m. in a make-up game.

The flood caused horror for the grounds crew here at Tomball.

“It looks like we could harvest crawfish out here,” Ramsey said.
