Tomball is back in the baseball playoffs after a pair of big weekend wins.

The Coogs won against Memorial 1-0 on Friday, then defeated Magnolia on Saturday to give them the playoff advantage. The Cougars chose to take the third seed, which gave them better positioning in the playoffs.

Next they will play Houston Davis in a double-header on Friday in the bi-district round of the playoffs. The times will be at 4:30 and 7. If the teams split the two games, they will play at Coward Park at North Forest High School at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
