Coogs see Sun against Stratford: UPDATED

Varsity baseball boys have a home game tonight at 7 p.m. against Stratford. Tonight’s game will be making up for last Friday, when it was rained out. Their current record is 4-4-2 and 1-0 in district.

Stratford has always been good competition for the Coogs. Today is one of the few days expected to be bright and sunny.

The Coogs will need all the support they can get, and are hoping everyone comes out and cheers them on.

UPDATE.

The boys’ baseball went against Stratford Monday after the game got rained out on Friday. Even with the weather recovering the boys fought through with a bright day and ended with a victory.

“We were crushing the ball. We were just seeing the ball through the lineup one through nine and smacking it through the yard. That night we were on fire. Shane Daughety got his fifth one of the season and was doing well on the mound.” Said Robbie Gillen.

On March 27th they will be facing Waller on their turf so go root for another win.
