JV: Tomball tops Magnolia West

Tomball’s JV baseball team opened district play with a huge win over Magnolia West, a stunning 11-4 victory that gave the Coogs a 1-0 start to district.

All players had a great game, so great that you could feel the team chemistry bouncing off the field. The Coogs have been doing well, with their overall record of 5-2-1.

“We did very well, we played against a pretty good team, but we managed to play really good. Some stuff we need to work on however would be to keep focus on the field and continue to get better,” Brandon Walters said.

The team looks very promising so far and they have high expectations to fill.

“I think that if we keep pounding the strike zone and hitting the ball like we’re supposed to, we have a great chance to go undefeated this season,” Ashton Caubarreaux said.
