The Cougar Softball team defeated Austin H.S. last night in their Bi District game.

This will advance the Cougars to Area Playoffs this week against Angleton on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Friday at 6 and 8, with all games at Northshore Complex. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Kamryn Boucher had 14 strikeouts and Lexie Comeaux went 4-for-4 with two home runs and two doubles against Austin.

Kayla Boucher had a homerun and a double, Savannah Sandoval added three singles and Nikole Williams had a double and two singles to round out the offense.

The girls are hoping fans come out to support them as they advance in the playoffs.
