Water Polo falls short at state

The boys and girls water polo teams made another trip to Austin for the State Championship Water Polo Tournament held at UT this past weekend, but came home a bit earlier than they had hoped.

The girls lost to Denton Ryan 5-2, and the guys lost to St.Mark’s 10-5.

Saturday proved to be a day of redemption for the teams, though, as the boys beat San Antonio’s Clark High School 11-8 and finished 9th in the tournament overall.

As for the girls, they tied their last game with San Antonio’s O’Connor High School4-4, and finished 9th overall as well.
