After spending about 45 minutes in the dark, the power is back on at Tomball High School and classes will be on their regular bell schedule.

The power came on just as fifth period was beginning, which is also when lunches are served. The food had already been prepared so hot lunches were available, although the menu was a bit more limited than usual.

While there’s no official reason yet for the outage, most assume it’s weather related as trees and power lines in the area are still covered in ice. The weather has also forced the postponement of all athletic competitions for tonight.
